First pokemon he saw, a litwick, and a shiny one at that. Epitaph gave him a look. Andy nodded. It would make a good companion to his current litwick, and his shiny duskull and phantump besides. Drawing a pokeball as his gengar employed his entirely overused hypnosis, the Galarian made his play for the baby candle.

Adorable addition made, the terrain coughed up another. It was almost missed its sickly green hue blending it rather deftly into the environment. Sometimes being a shiny was a blessing and other times... Andy considered the pokemon. Another eventual marowak had some allure, but he already had two, and liked them at that. The creature would ultimately be allowed to stay.

The impidimp's shiny form did not offer nearly the camouflage that the cubone's had. The pokemon had always creeped Andy out a bit. It's physiology didn't have much allure to him, abandoned by the rule of cool. Alas, a pokemon wasn't all about aesthetics. Another dark type would have its uses. Looking to Epitaph, he didn't seem any more certain. With a nod the instruction was made however, and after a hypnosis a pokeball was readied.

As the pokeballs clicked closed, a feeling of paranoia crawled through him. Something was watching him. As the foliage rustled behind him, his gengar readied. The pair turned to find a pink drowzee spying on them. It just figured. These things were more interested in children than adults, so this thing had to figure it had hit the jackpot finding him out here alone.

The reflection of light in its water bubble betrayed its presence. The dewpider, like many big types, seemed to camouflage excellently otherwise. Seeing this pokemon reminded him of the first time he had met John Sullivan, and his dewpider. While he was just as grossed out now, the memory enough to make him desire one of his own.
